Terms of use

Free and Plus

Free includes one offline map, map and GPS, trips, findings and return navigation, with no numeric limit on trips or findings. Plus unlocks additional offline maps, GPX/KML export, and backup creation and restore.

When Plus ends, core features and saved data remain available; new paid actions require active Plus. Previously downloaded maps are not automatically deleted. Subscription availability and the final price are confirmed in the App Store before purchase.

What TEREN is for

TEREN is a personal map for saving places, notes, photos, trips, prepared offline maps and basic navigation. Use the app lawfully and respect other people’s property and nature conservation restrictions.

Access and licence

Basic free access remains available. If PLUS is available in your version and region, you may choose an optional monthly or annual subscription. The actual benefits, price, currency and conditions appear in the app and App Store before you confirm a purchase.

You receive a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app under these terms and applicable Apple rules. The Apple standard end user licence agreement also applies on iOS. These terms do not announce the availability of paid products, trials or offers.

Subscriptions, cancellation and restoration

If you subscribe through Apple, your subscription renews automatically under the conditions Apple displays at purchase until you cancel it. Manage it in your Apple ID settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

To recover previously purchased access, use Restore Purchases in TEREN with the relevant Apple account. Apple decides refund requests for purchases made through Apple. Instructions are on the support page.

Your content

Your notes, photographs and other original materials remain yours. Only add or share materials you have the right to use. When you export or share, you choose the recipient and access to the copies.

You are responsible for keeping the copies you need. Do not delete local data or reinstall the app as a troubleshooting step without assessing the risk of data loss.

Navigation and safety

GPS, maps, recorded routes and return paths may be inaccurate, outdated or lead through impassable terrain. Download needed maps in advance; offline access is not a universal guarantee for every area or condition.

Assess terrain, weather, battery, connectivity and your own abilities. TEREN is not an emergency service or a guarantee of a safe route. The mushroom guide does not establish species or edibility: do not eat mushrooms based on app information.

Updates and your rights

Features may change with updates, device capabilities and service availability. Material changes to the terms will appear here; check the revision date.

These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights or other protections under applicable law. For questions about the app, access or these terms, contact support@terenmaps.com.
